Abstract

The article aims to propose an evaluative model for nutritional care to address obesity in Primary Health Care. It is based on the model proposed by Machado and Lacerda for evaluating Nutritional Care. Official documents and scientific articles related to the subject were analyzed, and input from a group of stakeholders guided the development of the Theoretical Model, Logical Model, and the Analysis and Judgment Matrix. To validate the evaluative model, a consensus conference technique was used, involving 11 experts in the fields of nutrition and health evaluation. The matrix consists of twenty-four indicators and sixty measures, organized into seven subdimensions and two dimensions: Management and Care. The evaluative model operates on the assumption that municipal management bears the responsibility of providing the necessary structural and organizational conditions for the implementation of nutrition and food-related actions to combat obesity in an intersectoral, multiprofessional, and interdisciplinary manner, following the principles of comprehensive Primary Health Care.
