The Pajeú backlands, a region in the Semi-arid zone of Pernambuco, is characterized by periods of drought and public policies focused on combating this climatic phenomenon. In contrast to this process, a network, formed by agroecological female farmers in the region, advocates for the construction of a healthy territory, having as a guiding principle the coexistence with the Semi-arid environment. The aim was to describe the ongoing projects of the Pajeú Women’s Producers Network aimed at coexisting with the Semiarid environment and their impacts on strengthening the territories. This is an observational, analytical study with a qualitative approach. Three conversation circles were held with women members of the Pajeú Women’s Producers Network, along with direct observation of their activities from December 2022 to March 2023. The systematized data – conversation and field diary – were analyzed according to Bardin. Various actions were identified that contribute to the development of a territory historically rich in agroecological experiences, towards its healthy development. The construction of agroecology through feminist mobilization is a predictor of the formation of healthy and sustainable territories in the region, for coexisting with nature.
