Abstract

This article is based on the reflections and experiences provoked from the project ‘Quilombola Communities and COVID-19: Development of social technologies for health promotion in the Médio Jequitinhonha, Minas Gerais’. In this sense, we will discuss the processes of implementation of social tecnologies in the Quilombola Communities Córrego do Rocha and Córrego do Narciso, as well as the results
achieved, their importance in the implementation of affirmative and reparative policies in the quilombola population and, finally, on the beginning of the consolidation of a sustainable and healthy territory within the scope of the quilombola communities of Vale do Jequitinhonha.
