Abstract

This experience report addresses the description of experiences for the extension project ‘Multicampi Saúde’ in the city Abaetetuba, Pará, in January 2020. This experience report has been written from the  perspective of a medical student. The project proposes the strengthening of the National Policy of Integral Care for Child Health, Teaching-Service  Integration, Permanent Education, and the  Professional Qualification of Graduates of 10 Health  Courses from the Federal University of Pará. The  extension activities carried out included teaching, research, human resources with experience of different professionals and collaborative practice  together with bachelors from other courses and local  actors from work and from the community. The  results were actions of the intervention and  construction of material for education on child health. The Teaching-Service Integration made possible new  eyes on the learning and ’training of students, qualified the practice of the professionals in their  work, making it possible to reflect upon ineffective  practices. This insertion in primary health care  throughout the bachelor’s course has major influence  on medical training and choice of the specialty of  family and community doctor after the completion of  the course.
