Abstract

This report aims to describe the experience lived as invited professors of the ‘Gender and Health’ course  of the Multiprofessional Postgraduate School in a  university hospital and to present, in an analytical way, the debate on gender and health held in the classroom, based on discussions guided by the  professors. The course was taught in a face-to-face  and non-face-to-face block, this being for the  development of evaluative work. Among the activities  developed in the classroom, we highlight: individual  forms for identification and contextualization on the  theme, group dynamics, and dialogues. In the topics  covered, we discussed: being a man and being a  woman; construction of masculinity and femininity;  gender, right to health and access to services, and  gender violence. After analyzing the final works, we  affirm the need to create debates on the theme  ‘Gender and Health’ in the training spaces, as well as  in the scenarios of professional practices.
